Wearable Midi Controller
2019This device uses your foot's position on an XY plane to control music. The controller can communicate with any MIDI compatible music software. It is worn around the ankle so that a musician's hands can be free.
It uses ultrasonic sensors to detect distance from the ankle in two directions. Ultrasonic sensors use the echo time from high frequency sound waves — basically, this device is quietly screaming all the time.
